Less than two weeks from now, the Baltic TechDay 2011 conference will be happening in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - and I am honored of being a speaker to all three conferences, as per the invitation of Microsoft. Three days, three cities, three countries – and a total of six airplane takeoffs and landings.

Baltic TechDays 2011 is a premium 1-day technology conference for IT Professionals and Developers, that spans though three Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. TechDays 2011 will connect over 1000 technical professionals and provides opportunity to deep-dive into the most recent innovations and helps to rediscover existing technologies. It will be the biggest Microsoft organized technical education conference in Baltics.

At the conference, I will be talking about Kinect development – and it seems like attendees will be able to experience our Kinect Maps application as well. There may be some other surprises, too…

If you are around, I would be happy to talk about Kinect, Windows Phone 7, User Experience and whatnot. You can follow me on twitter at www.twitter.com/vbandi to find out where I am during this crazy week...

Here is the abstract of my talk:

Kinect - the revolutionary sensor for Xbox - is exciting. Kinect is fun. Kinect is awesome. And now, Kinect can be connected to your PC, and you can write applications for it! If you ever wanted to develop for Kinect or you are just curious about how to do it, this talk is for you. András Velvárt (Silverlight MVP and User Experience enthusiast) will introduce the sensor, the development models, show some code, and share some war stories on designing the breakthrough user experience for Kinect Maps - a 3D Map controlled by Kinect.

See you there!
