by jesseliberty via Jesse Liberty - Silverlight Geek on 1/6/2010 5:13:00 AM

I’m incredibly proud to say that we were able to release the Silverlight HVP proof of concept alpha release on time, at 12:05 am Wednesday January 6, 2010 (GMT-5).  As noted in our release schedule this is the first of a series of releases scheduled for every second Wednesday. Need a Little Help from My Developer Friends Out There!

by dwahlin via Dan Wahlin's WebLog on 1/6/2010 4:54:00 AM

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who voted! It looks like I'll be presenting on Syncing Audio, Video and Animations in Silverlight Applications at MIX10. MIX10 is right around the corner which should be a lot of fun especially if you’re interested in Web and Rich Internet Application (RIA) development.  If you’re not into development then the conference is held in Las Vegas so you can still have a good time while seeing a bunch of us software developer types hang out and get all “giddy” over tec ...

MIX 2010: Voting for sessions has begun (I got two)

by Laurent Bugnion via Silverlight on 1/6/2010 12:12:15 AM

This year Microsoft decided to have an open call for sessions for the MIX 2010 in Las Vegas. This conference, in case you don’t know it yet, is a great 3 days about modern client technologies, such as ASP.NET, Windows Presentation Foundation and of course Silverlight. I didn’t count them, but there seems to be more than 100 sessions lined up, and the competition ...

RIA Services and relational data

by Tim Heuer via Method ~ of ~ failed by Tim Heuer on 1/6/2010 12:02:10 AM

As we’ve all been guilty, when you see demonstrations of technologies most of the time the data samples show single table solutions.  When was the last time you’ve developed a single-table system? :-)  Thought so.
